What kind of carpet should I get for my bedroom? I live in an apt and have noisy neighbors.?
Last night they argued, had sex, then talked about it, and argued some more. I even dreamed about them because I kept cursing them in my head. Once they invade my dreams, it’s gotten too far. However, I live in an apt and have hardwood floors. In my bedroom it’s just my bed so sound travels. They probably have no idea. Anyhow, should I go with wall to wall or area rug? I also hate carpets and want one with the least kind of fur and plush. Also, I don’t want to bother with having to break down my bed to lift up an area rug to clean everytime that is why I was thinking wall-to-wall. I obviously can’t damage the wood floors. Any suggestions?
Carpeting your floor isn’t going to get rid of the noise unless your neighbors are on the floor below you. If so, then get any kind of carpet you want and get good padding under it. Wall to wall will not hurt the hardwood floors. If your noisy twosome is next to you, then you need to look into padding your walls! Good luck.
